Jaime DeSmit has worked at the intersection of design, local food systems, and community health. She puts her many skills to work as the Local Food Coordinator with SCVFA. She came to earth-work by following the urge she had while she sat at her desk as a graphic designer. Jaime has an extensive WWOOF resume and has lived and worked on small organic farms. She owned and operated her own business, Earth Meets Body, for 4 years creating regional herbal products & offering ecological gardening services. She still offers courses on burnout & connection to nature through observation and movement. Jaime hikes often with her two huskies and loves living in the St. Croix Valley.
