We are the St. Croix Valley Food Alliance

Our mission is to strengthen and promote a thriving, resilient, and equitable local food economy in the St. Croix River Valley.

We believe that the cycle of a healthy culture begins and ends with food, what we eat, how it is grown, prepared and shared.

WHAT WE EAT

We grow a wide variety of products for household consumers, including fresh fruits and vegetables, cattle, milk, chickens, ducks, hogs, eggs, maple syrup, honey, and herbs.

HOW IT IS GROWN

We focus on climate friendly farming practices such as rotational grazing, low-till, organic farming practices, and more.

HOW IT IS PREPARED

We also have our harvests processed into value-added products such as forage for livestock, beef, chicken, and pork, cheese, specialty foods, and tinctures.

HOW IT IS SHARED

We sell at several farmer’s markets in our region and in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. We serve a combined 1120 members who have joined our Community Supported Agriculture subscriptions (CSAs). We donate and sell food to service agencies and food pantries in our area.
